재 범은 “우선, 팬 여러분들께 또한 지난 9월 이후, 감정적으로 그리고 정신적으로 힘들었을 2PM 멤버들에게 미안하다는 말을 꼭 전하고 싶습니다”며 “애들아. 우리가 더 이상 함께 할 수 없는 상황이 되어 버려 안타깝고, 미안해”라고 2PM 멤버들에 대한 사과의 뜻을 전했다.
이어 “저는 2PM을 전적으로 사랑하고 지지하고 있다는 것을 여러분께서 알아주셨으면 합니다”며 “그 친구들을 좋아하시든, 좋아하지 않으시든, 분명한 것은 그들은 정말 열심히 하는 좋은 아이들이라는 사실이고, 그 누구라도 그들에게서 지금의 자리를 빼앗아서는 안 된다는 것입니다”고 강조했다.
재범은 자신의 탈퇴 후 2PM 팬클럽과 자신의 팬클럽 사이에 갈등이 벌어진 것을 의식한 듯 “팬덤 끼리의 다툼은 이제 그만하고, 서로 잘 지냈으면 합니다”고 부탁했다.
재범은 영화배우에 도전하는 것에 대해 “더 긍정적인 모습으로 해나가고 좋은 방향으로 일이 풀리길 바라며, 많은 사람들이 긍정적인 삶을 살 수 있도록 제가 좋은 영향을 줄 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다”는 바람을 피력했다.

Past member of 2PM Jaebum revealed his true feelings through his official homepage before his re-entrance into Korea.
Jaebum began, “Before I step foot into a new chapter in my life, I want to share some things. Let’s leave the past as the past.”
Jaebum said, “First, to the fans and to the members who received physical and emotional stress after September, I wanted to say how sorry I am” and also expressed an apologetic mind towards the 2PM members, “Guys, I’m sorry that we got into a situation that didn’t allow us to be a team, it’s very unfortunate. I’m sorry.”
Continuing, “I want everyone to know that I do love the 2PM members and support them” and emphasized, “Whether or not you like or dislike them, what I know for sure is that they work extremely hard, and it is not right for someone to steal their place from them.”
After Jaebum’s departure there were many quarrels and partings between 2PM fanclubs and Jaebum fanclubs, so he asks, “Let’s not argue between fandoms anymore.”
As for Jaebum’s venture as a actor he states, “I hope that we can continue forth in a positive manner and that many others can also live with a positive lifestyle through what hopefully turns out to be a nice movie. “
