Hangeng a chinese member from korean boyband Super Junior has recently got into a contract dispute with SM, and his absence from the group has been very obvious!
But it has been emerged that Hangeng has been nominated for the runner up of 2009 Asia most popular Korean artist award.The nomination is based on the fact that Hangeng has worked very hard over the years to promote the chinese culture, while in Korea. He fought all odds and combat all obstacles just to be where he is today, Hangeng is known for his dancing techniques and is seen as one of the main dancers in Super Junior, he is trained in martial arts and specialise in 35 types of traditional moinority dances plus ballet [how many boys can do ballet.. seriously?] !
Fans see Hangeng as ‘a heart made of gold’ * after the devastating shocks of the China earthquake Hangeng donated all his salary from his Cf filming to charities to fund emergency services in China, a couple of weeks later Hangeng secretly donated another large amount of money, fans only found out three/four weeks after*. When he is in Korea he always remembered his roots and where he came from. Personally I think he deserves this award!
