Rumours are going wild, and it looks like it's just the beginning...
After rumours that JYP Entertainment was going to hold a press conference about 2PM leader Jaebeom was quashed nearly as soon as people were getting wind of it, now there is talk that the production team for the dance movie "Hype Nation" have contacted JYP Entertainment and requested for Jaebeom to star in it as the male lead. This movie has risen to attention before, with Korean stars BoA and Son Dambi said to be cast as well, but ultimately, things didn't work out.
As much I want to see Jay on the big screen showing off his awesome b-boying skills to the rest of the world, this wasn't quite how I imagined the offer would come about. It's all quite precarious right now, and this news has brought about mixed reactions of what fans are hoping for- so far, quite a few members on 2ONEDAY (the international forum especially dedicated to 2AM+2PM) do not want to see this offer falling through as of yet, as they think it is much more important to see the gaping hole in 2PM being patched up in the near future before any bigger projects are undertaken. I, for one, wish more than anything that 2PM would be 7 again!
2PM recently ended their promotions for their album "1:59PM" as 6, but with JYP Entertainment announcing the release of a new album for 2PM in April 2010 so soon after "1:59PM", many fans are hoping to hear that this might mean 2PM will be appearing as 7 again soon. Who knows what JYP has got up his sleeve, and if anything is happening within JYP Entertainment, seems like everyone who knows is keeping mum about it...
