Girls’ Generation Taeyeon, with her passionate kiss scene in her first musical, is receiving interest.
On the afternoon of the 7th, there was a rehearsal stage for the musical “The Sun’s Song” at Seoul Sejong Cultural Arts Center M Theatre.
In this musical, Taeyeon plays the role of an aspiring singer named Kaoru who has a disease called “xeroderma pigmentosum” where exposure to sunlight is harmful. Taeyeon received lots of praise due to the fact that she has stable vocal skills in addition to good acting, and the ability to carry out scenes where the character is deep in sadness.
Taeyeon also caught the eyes of many for having a kiss scene with her boyfriend in the play, Go Joon Shik (playing Koji) while singing a heartfelt love song called “Yesterday’s You, Tomorrow’s You.”
“The Sun’s Song” is a performance based on the Japanese story. It will play at the Seoul Sejong Cultural Arts Center M Theatre from May 7th to the 29th.
